Muller Martini celebrates 50 years

The company was founded in 1955 as the first foreign subsidiary of what was then called Hans Muller Maschinenfabrik Zofingen (Switzerland).
At the open house last month, visitors from all over Germany viewed demonstrations showing how brochures and book blocks are created from folded signatures. Muller Martini’s technologically-advanced saddle stitchers and book sewing machines were featured in the demonstrations.
The highlight of the customer event was an evening at the College of Media in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Stephan Krauss, CEO of Prinovis, a European rotogravure company, delivered a presentation focusing on the future of the graphic arts industry.
Current and former employees and their families were all invited to celebrate the anniversary as well.
Muller Martini CEO Dr Wilhelm Neubauer says the company is now looking forward to the next 50 years. “The future belongs to the bold,” he said in his presentation speech.
