The appointment is seen as a very pleasing outcome for the team at Raleigh and corporate owners CPI Group. Murphy will operate the new role from his current location in Melbourne.
Former general manager of Raleigh Paper Graeme Ross remains with the business as a consultant. Murphy will report to Bernard Cassell, managing director CPI Group and president of the Australian Paper Industry Association.
