National Print winners to display in Parliament

The Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA) is set to showcase the winning pieces from the National Print Awards in Mural Hall, Parliament House, saying it has hopes of sharing the best in print with politicians and policy makers.

The Print to Parliament exhibition will open at 7pm October 17 in Canberra.

Andrew Macaulay, CEO of the PIAA says, “There will be an exhibition of the winners in Parliament House, where politicians will see work from the industry. We are inviting our members to write to their MPs. Every suburb has a printer, printers should have a stronger voice and MPs should know that voice.

“Be sure to have your friends and other printers get involved. We want to celebrate print.”

There were around 30 gold winning entries in this year’s Awards, with Geelong based Adams Print taking four golds, Digitalpress taking three, and Momento pro winning the Judges Award.
