New head and offices for manroland Australasia

Known for his work with Currie Group in recent years, Dunwell’s appointment marks the beginning of a new era for the company, which announced earlier this year it would no longer be represented in the region by MAN Ferrostaal.

Manroland Australasia assumed responsibility for sales, marketing, and services for the entire manroland product range in the Asia-Pacific at the start of June, opening offices in Sydney and Melbourne in the process.

Dunwell (pictured) added that the company is “bolstering the already-strong manroland team for the long term future”.

“The start of this new sales and service organisation has opened up new favourable prospects for the company and thus for manroland’s customers,” he said. “It will further strengthen the already service-focused manroland business, which was established by Graham Wickham and his team over the last 18 months. We want to replicate manroland’s worldwide success with huge efforts in sales and marketing.”

“In order to meet the challenges faced by the industry in a dynamic and sustainable manner, manroland Australasia will strengthen its focus on the market, customers, and service, enabling us to respond even faster and more efficiently.”

The company hailed Dunwell’s appointment, crediting him as having “good business acumen, a strong sales background, people management skills, and a positive attitude”.
