New print auction site launches

As the industry faces a steady tide of business closures, a new print industry-focused equipment auction site has launched online.

The website www.printmachines4sale.com has been active for only a month, but has already conducted its first high profile auction of Pilpel Print’s kit.

According to its website, it also garners 70 visitors per day and more than 6000 per month.

A statement issued by the company explains the site was launched in response to what it says is the Australian print industry’s booming growth, especially online.

“Businesses are faced with conflict and confusion as more and more print industry information becomes widely available – and it is harder than ever to truly get to the bottom of such a complex and rapidly changing market – purely because of the volume of outdated text, audio, and video available online. Print Machines 4 Sale can help clarify and remove any confusion,” the company says.

Print Machines 4 Sale says the website stands out from other auction sites due to its print industry-specific focus and user friendly interface. “The service is aimed at businesses in the print industry who need to be provided with sound information in a situation where cross-industry sales on other sites makes it difficult for managers to make objective decisions regarding their business needs.”

The online auction of Pilpel Print’s kit closes on the website at 4pm tomorrow.
