Ron Patterson, PIAA general manager Victoria told Australian Printer, “It was an exceptional night, this year we had a lot of different companies taking awards. Next year we would like to rattle the cage even more and get some more companies involved.”
Also on the night, leading print educationalist Robert Black was presented with a special award in recognition of his contribution to the Victorian print industry.
Patterson says, “We wanted to show Robert our appreciation for his efforts in the Victorian industry and during his acceptance speech you could have heard a pin drop, which shows how highly he is held by the industry.”
