Next adds versatility with Durst

The Durst range was showcased at the Visual Impact Image Expo in Sydney last month by PES, and this is where Next Printing first had a look at the printer and made the purchase.

Romeo Sanuri, general manager, Next Printing spoke to Australian Printer, “At Next we are constantly on the lookout for ways to improve the customer experience, and a large part of this through the acquisition of new technology. The arrival of the Durst Rho P10 250 at our St Peters site will make us the first print company in the country to have this machine.”

Sanuri says the new acquisition is a versatile flatbed roll-to-roll hybrid machine and adds to the existing Durst machines Next Printing has, the 320R and 351R.

He says, “The addition of the new Durst Rho P10 250 will reduce the pressure of our other Durst machines which have been running at full capacity, while also offering a range of exciting new features. It will sit alongside our HP FB7500 digital screen printer.”

The Durst Rho P10 250 is able to print on rigid materials up to 70mm thick, 2.5m wide and at lengths dependent on the surface. Applications include fabric, vinyl, film, papers and stretch materials along with metal, acrylic, glass, PVC, polycarbonate and board. It is has the ability to produce a wide range of rigid and roll substrates for production.

Sanuri says, “Next is proud to be the first printer in Australia to offer this new printer. The versatility and quality will not only position Next firmly at the forefront of digital print technology in the Asia Pacific region, but also begin a new era for our customers.”

Next Printing has four key areas it specialises in which include; Retail, Exhibition, Fabric and Re-board.
