Nulab installs sharp, fast DocuWide

Victorian outfit Nulab Group is installing a Memjet-based DocuWide C842 from Fuji Xerox at its Braeside plant – it says the press is the world’s fastest colour inkjet printer. Nulab went for the C842 for its speed and quality, the company says the machine “has applied these concepts and is capable of introducing an impressive colour output at all times.”

With print speeds rated at up to 152.4mm per second, on media up to 1,067mm wide, Nulab says it is the fastest wide format printer currently available in the market. The DocuWide C842 supports plain papers (premium paper) for LED plotter as well as various types of papers such as coated papers, glossy papers and tracing papers. The machine is suitable for a variety of applications including backlit advertising displays and colour posters on coated papers. Nulab will pitch it to customer interested in getting accurate images and fine lines for poster photographs, flyers, promotional items, illustrations, architects’ drawings and retail POS. It says the money it saves on production costs and through increased productivity will be passed on to its customers.
