The JetStream 5500 mono is the fastest printer in the Océ JetStream wide mono series, it is a 254m/min monochrome production printer with a 30 inch wide paper transport. It can produce 5140 A4 images per minute at a resolution of 600 x 480 dpi with multilevel imaging technology, 1200dpi perceived premium image quality can be achieved when running the press at 200m/min.

The new press machine is suited for book, manual and transaction printing. Trade books in the 6” x 9” format can be printed 4-up, reducing the cost per book produced.
