Oce links with Canon

Among the functionality it delivers is auto job scheduling for up to eight hours in advance, allowing the operator to set and forget. A clear green for go graphic on the touchscreen gives instant guidance as to job status. Media status graphics provide instant data on different media for different jobs, and it indicates when there is only 15 minutes worth of media left. Workflow is media based, which Oce says leads to less errors.

Oce also had what it claims is the world’s fastest cut sheet printer, the Oce Ultra 6320, a 320 pages per minute printer. The company says that with 80 per cent of all printing duplex, and 80 per cent in monochrome the Ultra is perfectly suited to market demand. It will also collate preprinted colour pages into monochrome books.
