Océ unveils entry-level mono VarioStream 7120

The VarioStream 7120 is a simplex print system that the manufacturer is targeting at both corporate and commercial print houses.

Océ is also pitching the 7120 at printers producing direct mail, adding that the machine is suited for time-sensitive jobs requiring a fast turnaround.

The 7120 can print at speeds up to 114ppm in A4 2-up simplex mode or 121ppm letter size in 2-up simplex operation.

It also features non-contact flash-fusing technology, which can process a raft of applications such as labels, plastics and foils, Océ claimed.

Offering print resolutions up to 600dpi, the 7120 is also capable of printing graphics and barcodes that often feature in transactional documents.
