The award is based on the survey responses of thousands of digital printing end users in more than 56 countries worldwide, including those in Australia, and is drawn from a field of more than 30 other manufacturers of digital printing systems.

BERTL managing director, Margie Davis, says that Océ had been ‘way out in front’ in terms of service and support, according to satisfied customers who took part. 

"The Readers’ Choice Award is based primarily on the views of end-users in an online survey through our website. As well as carrying out our own exhaustive lab tests on around 350 systems each year, we wanted to find out what experienced and technically aware end-users think about the performance of digital printing systems and their vendors," Davis says.

"Our online survey provided a highly representative sample of digital printing system end-users. The results also include the views of resellers, with participants in 49 countries.  

"We opened our survey up to resellers last year because they can give us a valuable additional insight into areas of system and vendor performance, including important aspects like ease of integration and service and support," she concludes.

The award, which Océ also won in 2005, recognises the company's commitment to provide its professional end-users with a world class service to maximise the availability and productivity of its systems.
