OKI enters large format business

Printer manufacturer OKI has revealed it will launch its new ColorPainter range of large format inkjet printers at Visual Impact, which kicks off this Thursday in Sydney.

The company says it is aiming to broaden its product portfolio with the new range, which will mark its first foray into the large format market.

Antonio Leone, marketing manager, OKI Data ANZ, says, “With speed, precision and reliability at their core, together with value, versatility and quality, the ColorPainter range is destined to become the solution of choice for discerning users.”

According to OKI, three printers will make up the new range, the elite H3-104s with maximum media handing width of 104-inches and eight ink colours, the mid-range M-64s, and the entry-level E-64s which will make its debut at Visual Impact.

The company says all the models come with high-performance Eco Solvent SX inks which offer high UV stability, scratch resistance and a wide colour gamut with a black colour depth that cannot be beaten.

OKI says the material produced by the models are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be used for vehicle wraps, wallpaper, banners, labels and stickers.

Visual Impact will take place at Sydney Olympic Park from September 15 to 17. OKI will be located at stand C17.
