OKI expands 9000 series to cover commercial printers

The manufacturer is pitching the machine at commercial print operations, a move away from the office environments its 9000 series traditionally serve.

The ES9410 (pictured) offers print speeds of up to 31ppm in colour operation and at a maximum 36ppm in mono mode. Capable of handling stocks up to 300gsm, the new model can print at resolutions of up to 1,200x600dpi.

The ES9410 is compatible with the EFI Colourprint XF colour management RIP and EFI Fiery’s XF Production RIP software.

The ES9410 is currently available in the European market, with OKI Data Australia presently refining its plans for the press in the Australian market.

OKI Data Australia revealed to ProPrint last year that it was out to “convince the market” it can compete in the commercial print arena.
