OPUS making bold expansions in New Zealand and Asia

Responding to existing clients needs for a longer run capability, the group has signed alliance agreements with C.O.S. Printers in Singapore and Hung Hing Printing based in Hong Kong, which has several print facilities in China.

OPUS outlines that the agreements mean the group can extend its long run capabilities, complementing its short run, fast turnover strength.

Alfred Ang, managing director of C.O.S. Printers says, “We look forward to working closely with OPUS and their CEO Cliff Brigstocke, to service clients across Australia and Asia with a one-stop print capability. OPUS and C.O.S will provide a seamless quality print product for all of the needs of larger regional clients.”

OPUS also reports that it is set to establish Ligare New Zealand with Richard Celarc, founder of Ligare Australia re-locating to Auckland this month, where he will oversee the expansion of the business.

Celarc says, “There is no more exciting time to be in the business of printing, we are responding to shorter deadlines and new digital formats and we see the New Zealand business as a template for the future of printing.”

Joining the latest printing equipment and hand-picked staff at Ligare New Zealand, will be a digital asset management system that OPUS says will enable it to provide a new level of service for publishers.

Cliff Brigstocke also comments saying, “We have looked at the best systems in the world and what clients’ needs will be in the future, and decided to invest ahead of the curve.”
