Ovato Print, Hannanprint NSW & Inprint intention to declare a dividend

The liquidator of Ovato Print Pty Ltd, Hannanprint NSW Pty Ltd and Inprint Pty Ltd is calling for creditors whose debts or claims with these companies have not already been admitted to do so by September 6, 2022.

Kroll Advisory liquidator Marcus Ayres and joint appointee Stephen Parbery are handling the process and issued a Notice of Intention to Declare Dividend through ASIC’s published notices on August 16.

In relation to a dividend, the statement says:

“I will declare a first and final dividend on 14 October 2022 for the Company. Creditors whose debts or claims have not already been admitted are required on or before 6 September 2022 formally to prove their debts or claims. If they do not, they will be excluded from the benefit of the dividend.”

All enquiries relating to this should be directed to Aaron Kang, Kroll Advisory, ovato@kroll.com, phone: 02 8286 7235.

The ASIC published notice can be viewed here.

The entities Ovato Print Pty Ltd (ACN: 051 706 499), Hannanprint NSW Pty Ltd (ACN: 100 817 623) and Inprint Pty Ltd (ACN: 010 728 971) are not among the businesses now in voluntary administration with FTI Consulting administrators Ben Campbell, Ross Blakeley and Chris Hill. This is because these businesses were already in liquidation prior to FTI Consulting’s involvement on July 21.

An ACCC investigation is currently underway into a potential acquisition of some or all of Ovato’s business units (those in voluntary administration with FTI Consulting) by IVE Group, Australia’s largest catalogue and magazine printer and diversified marketing company.

Kroll Advisory’s Marcus Ayres has advised Sprinter that this call out relates to employees from these three entities following company changes after the NSW Supreme Court-approved Scheme of Arrangement which was launched in late 2020.
