May says the Board will stick to the original timeline it set for the CEO search and is hopeful a decision will be made before the end of the month. “We are continuing discussions with a couple of candidates. The shortlist has been narrowed down further to a point, but we have not ruled anyone out,” he says. “We are moving quickly to reach a conclusion.” Australian Printer understands the candidate will need to be chosen unanimously by the revamped Board which includes new directors Walter Kuhn, Kellie Northwood, John Scott and Matt Aitken. May has previously stated the new CEO will need to possess strong communication skills, a proven ability to implement successful strategies, and an attitude which engenders confidence in members.
