PIAA launches workplace safety survey

The seven-question survey seeks to identify risk areas as part of a project to help better manage Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in company workplaces.

The survey asks participants to identify the most common areas of concern and covers areas such as workers compensation, OHS management systems, noise, manual handling, machine guarding, workplace stress, and storage of chemicals. The survey also asks participants to identify what they regard as the three most unsafe equipment or processes in the industry.

“We have kept it short and simple to encourage our NSW members to focus on the key issues and the whole thing should take only a couple of minutes for companies to answer,” said Printing Industries national employee relations and OHS services manager, Ken Stenner (pictured).

The Printing Industries Safety Assistance Survey can be accessed here. Responses must be completed by the end of this week.
