PIAA reps join PacPrint Board

Newly appointed Printing Industries Board member Ron Patterson and existing member Chris Segaert will join fellow member Peter Lane as the PIAA faces on the PacPrint 2017 Board.

Patterson and Segaert will take the Board seats alongside Visual Connections representatives Adrian Fleming from print IQ, who chairs the Board, Anthony Lewis from Konica Minolta and Anthony Parnemann from EFI, who have all been on the Board since its formation early this year.

Segaert from Permanent Press, like Lane, is a long-time PIAA and former president, while Patterson has a long career in print in the supply side of the industry, although recently working as a consultant. Patterson was elected Victoria Board member last month after former representative Kellie Northwood stepped down from the position.

According to PacPrint organisers, all three have been intimately involved with previous PacPrint and PrintEx exhibitions through their roles with Printing Industries.

“We are delighted to welcome Ron and Chris as the new Printing Industries representatives on the PacPrint Board, and look forward to their input, which will be drawn from their broad industry experience and informed by their long association and deep commitment to the print and graphic communications sector,” says PacPrint Boar chairman Adrian Fleming.

“We are fortunate to have such a strong Board to guide the strategy and development around the show, to ensure it provides outstanding value to both exhibitors and visitors.”

PacPrint 2017 will be held from May 23-26 next year at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, and will incorporate fellow tradeshow Visual Impact.
