PMP branches out of print with online media service

PMP continues that the service – whats4sale.com.au – will allow retailers and other businesses to display their catalogues in a user friendly online environment, to be viewed by potential shoppers visiting the site.

Richard Allely, acting CEO of PMP says the service was developed in response to feedback from retailers, with their specific requirements in mind.

Allely says, “We expect whats4sale.com.au to very quickly emerge as one of Australia’s most popular platforms for online catalogue marketing.”

For consumers, the site offers online browsing experience customised to their own preferences and interests, with the ability to search rapidly through multiple catalogue offers by product of retail brand, according to PMP.

Derek Taylor, managing director of PMP direct marketing says the service will deliver new touch points with consumers, and extend their reach into areas not covered by traditional letterbox delivery.

Taylor says, “For retailers, particularly SMEs, the low cost structure of the service makes it a compelling addition to traditional print catalogue letterbox campaigns, especially in the current environment when bang for marketing buck is important.”

The whats4sale.com.au service will be available to the public from March 10, with PMP saying it has already fielded strong interest from retailers in the service and expects consumer uptake to be similarly after the launch.
