PMP gets behind World Vision

A statement from PMP outlines, “As a result of a long association with South Australian building and hardware specialist company Stratco, PMP are very aware of the great work Stratco does in raising much needed money for World Vision.

in particular PMP was motivated by Stratco’s recent promotion “Stratco Water for the World”, featuring The Adelaide United Football Club, Stratco donates $2,000 to World Vision water and sanitation projects each time Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) scores a goal during the 2011/12 A league season.

With 23 goals kicked within 19 weeks of the 2011/12 season, by Adelaide United, this year’s final figure is likely to be considerable.

In the words of Les Webster, state sales manager SA/NT for PMP, “It’s really important for a company like PMP to recognise the good work our clients and business partners are involved in and where we can step up to the mark with our own donation.

“The Burundi Water and Sanitation Project is one of these occasions. We know that PMP’s donation of $20,000 will contribute to creating better lives for children and families in need of such a simple resource that all of us take for granted, water.”

According to PMP, Burundi has one of the highest child and maternal mortality rates in the world. Diseases related to inadequate water supply and sanitation, most notably diarrhoea, are among the leading causes of death.
