PMP kicks a charity goal with $20K pledge for World Vision

Long-time client Stratco is donating $2,000 to World Vision water and sanitation projects for each goal Adelaide scores this A-League season.

PMP state sales manager Les Webster said the print group was proud to back up Stratco's good work.

"It’s really important for a company like PMP to recognise the good work our clients and business partners are involved in and where we can step up to the mark with our own donation," he said.

"The Burundi Water and Sanitation Project is one of these occasions. We know that PMP’s donation of $20,000 will contribute to creating better lives for children and families in need of such a simple resource that all of us take for granted, water."

World Vision partnership manager Cherie Werner-Jones said the charity was "delighted" by PMP's support.

"PMP’s donation will go a long way to improving the access of children and their families to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities. With this support, we hope to help over 80,000 people," she said.

In June 2010, PMP donated $100,000 to Father Chris Riley's homelessness charity, Youth off the Streets, and last February, the group raised $60,000 for victims of the Queensland floods.
