Print and promo products Printmotion in liquidation

Print and promotional products company Printmotion has just been liquidated, but debts to printers are relatively few, says owner Paul Riddett.

The liquidator at Worrells handling the account confirmed the company is in voluntary liquidation, but refused to provide any details other than that the first creditors meeting will be on February 28.

Printmotion was a wide format printer, promotional products supplier and print management business, also providing, creative design services, and used a proprietary software system.

According to Riddett three printers are owed a total of $16,000. Other creditors include suppliers, but Riddett says: "The overwhelming majority of our creditors are from the promotional products industry."

Printmotion made a major investment in wide format equipment less than a year ago, buying two digitial inkjet printers and a digital cutting table.
