Print Approach makes fifth acquisition

Queensland firm Print Approach has taken over The Printing Office (TPO) in its fifth acquisition over five years, merging its troupe of companies into an entity named Eckersley Group.

Print Approach is taking over the Brisbane printing house following the retirement of TPO owner Joe Clouston, and according to Print Approach, the acquisition propelled the need to establish a group brand.

“It is the perfect fit for the TPO business. To know that the business will be run and led by Tom and Luke Eckersley is a great outcome,” says Clouston.

“These boys have run their own successful family company for many years. I am certain that the TPO clients and staff will be happy working with the Eckersley Group.”

Print Approach owner and well-known print identity Tom Eckersley says the acquisition will complement the company’s existing kit and services with ISO 14001, FSC and QA accreditations.

The Eckersley Group, following the takeover of TPO, now comprises four trading businesses including Easi-File, Print Approach and Fine Print.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
