Print Awards tickets available

Registrations are now open for tickets the 2014 National Print Awards in Sydney on May 23, which will see companies from around Australia vying for ultimate glory in Australia’s most prestigious printing honours.

The winners from the 1,700 entries to last year’s PICAs will compete in 33 ‘rounds’ with some of the toughest judges in the industry and promises the show at Sydney’s Westin hotel will pack a quite a punch.

Print Awards chairman John Wanless says demand for seats at the awards, which is hosted by TV and radio personality Libbi Gorr, is expected to be strong, and urges attendees to book early.

“As well as some of the more well-known winners from previous years, this year as the Awards turn ’31 years strong’ we have an exciting line-up of newcomers keen to test their mettle against the best the NPA ring has ever seen,” he says.

“This is certain to see some upsets in popular categories, as well as introducing some much-anticipated fresh blood – if you’ll pardon the expression – to the competition.

“And with plenty of competitors lining up for virtually every category this year, be it the heavyweights of the offset sector, wide format with its extraordinary reach, or the quick and nimble digital competitors, the competition is expected to be tougher than ever, making an NPA gold even more of a prize.”
