Print trumps TV: IPMG beats networks to Myer supplier award

Hannanprint has confirmed the power of catalogues by winning a prestigious Myer supplier award ahead of the big two TV networks.

The IPMG firm won the 'marketing' category at the Myer Supplier of the Year awards.

The other nominees were Salmat, Bauer Media, Nine Entertainment Group, Ikon Communications and last year's winner, Seven Media Group.

Hannanprint sales & marketing director Bruce Stewart said Hannanprint printed all of Myer's mainstream catalogues and also its Myer One rewards program catalogues.

"It is very gratifying when a major client recognises quality, innovation and superior customer service," he told ProPrint.

"Our 20-year relationship with Myer is built on these sound principles. The award also recognises what a powerful marketing tool print continues to be.

"With so many mediums available these days to communicate messages to clients, print continues to be a major, and lately increasing, part of the communications mix."

Stewart said Hannanprint had maintained a high level of customer service since relocating from Alexandria to Warwick Farm.

"However, the new equipment at Warwick Farm, mixed with our ability to print in multiple sites around Australia, has certainly reduced clients' production schedules. So we have added another benchmark string to our customer service bow."
