Printing Industries announces new look board

The Association today announced its restructure of officers and board directors, which will come into place January next year.

Also as part of the restructure the regional councils will be replaced with specific purpose sub committees that will be encouraged to engage in more relevant and focused industry participation, and use the available knowledge, skills and experience available in the industry, according to Printing Industries.

Philip Andersen, CEO of Printing Industries said each state, including the ACT, now had one representative on the new nine-person board with two members elected nationally by the membership. The board replaces the national council.

Andersen says, “The formal regional council management structure no longer exists. Each state will be appointing special purpose sub committees as needed for specific matters.”

The new board will hold its first meeting early in the new year.

Officers elected for 12 months:

  • President: Susan Heaney – Heaneys Performers In Print.
  • Deputy President: Ray Keen – Print Graphics.
  • Honorary Secretary: Peter Lane – Lane Print Group.
  • Honorary Treasurer: Chris Segaert – Permanent Press.

Elected for two-year terms, the state representative board members:

  • Susan Heaney
  • Ray Keen
  • Peter Lane
  • Kieran May
  • Paul Richardson
  • Danny Roach
  • Ian Smith

Board members elected by the Printing Industries’ membership nationally:

  • Simon Doggett
  • Chris Segaert
