ProPrint Awards Emerging 50 named for 2021

The ProPrint Awards Emerging 50 continues to recognise the hard work and dedication of the rising stars of print with the 2021 nominees named at a glittering event held at the Shangri-la Hotel in Sydney.

This year was no exception with a vibrant field of candidates sending in their thoughts on the industry following their nomination.

Emerging 50 nominees include graphic designers, prepress operators, production assistants, postpress supervisors and finishing specialists as well as employees responsible for distribution, sales, administration and account management with approximately five years or less experience working in the industry.

Special thanks to the Foundation Partner of the Emerging 50, Media Super. Media Super has supported this category since its inception three years ago and their support is much appreciated.

We also thank silver sponsors Cactus Imaging, EFI and Visual Connections for their support. The Real Media Collective have again provided Emerging 50 Mentorship Prize partnership.

Emerging 50 recipients were judged on the detail provided within their submission and the supplementary materials provided. Each nominee also had the opportunity to apply for a 12-month mentorship prize in partnership with The Real Media Collective with 18 of this year’s group deciding to take that option up.

The mentorship prize includes a $1000 voucher for a short course with the Australian Institute of Management (AIM). Other inclusions in the mentorship prize are complimentary entry in The Real Media Awards ‘Best Emerging Talent’ category and access to all The Real Media Collective events, awards and industry sessions.

Many Emerging 50 nominees who were unable to make it supplied videos to play for the audience which were extremely well received.

A full photo gallery will be available in coming days.
