Quality Press completes move to Pacific Printing site

Quality has moved its entire operations – including subsidiary company Q Print Online – from its former home in the suburb of Osborne Park to the Welshpool site previously occupied by Pacific.

Quality director Ramesh Patel told ProPrint that the company had originally taken an interest in acquiring Pacific because of its site, and eventually decided to buy the business as a whole.

After operating out of two sites since December 2009, Quality recently finished moving all of its staff and operations to the Welshpool site. The original Osborne Park site is still owned by the company and will be leased out.

“We’re now in a position to operate all our businesses under one roof, so we’re a one-stop shop,” Patel said.

Patel said the company had retained all 12 of Pacific’s staff after acquiring the company, taking the total headcount to around 70.

The acquisition of Pacific also gave Quality a foothold in the stationery and business form printing market.

Earlier this year, the company replaced a pair of MBO B30 buckle folders with a $400,000 MBO T800 644R folder that it purchased at Ipex.
