ReDigital integrates communication for print

Shane O’Dea sales manager at ReDigital, says, “We provide solutions for customer communication management. Print is probably the major part of the value chain and we offer the full circle of communications capabilities. So, if a printer is looking to diversify its offering to clients, we can provide those facilities.”

The company began in 2010 and Both O’Shea and business development director Andrew Wight have strong backgrounds in software solutions and customer communications management. O’Dea says, “It is going very well. We have some major clients in Australia and New Zealand and we are looking to expand in both countries. We offer an enabler for variable data printing. Our technologies have an ability to integrate with all forms of data source so the business can communicate on a one to one basis with its own clients. Rather than a generic capability, they can tailor that to each client.”

“So far, we have had a lot of enquiries from people at PacPrint. GMC is strong in the US and Europe but is also getting stronger in Asia as well. GMC is a well-respected supplier of technology. ReDigital is growing. Our focus is as support for professional services. We have several solutions. For instance, a hybrid mail solution where customers can print information from wherever it comes in. It aggregates all the data and automates the process of sending it out.”

Wright says, “VDP has changed because of things like IPads and smart phones. There are different ways of getting your message across. A print company will find that a percentage of its clients prefer receiving information on tablets or smart phones. If they printers can’t accommodate that, their clients will go somewhere else.
