Revolution in Shanghai

This new five metre wide UV inkjet printer will be presented for the first time in Asia Pacific and will be printing at the NUR booth at an unprecedented speed of 300 sqm hr. In addition, with the Expedio Revolution, NUR says printers can achieve an ink coverage that is approximately four times better than the coverage achieved using a solvent printer*.

The company claims the NUR Expedio Revolution enables replacement of solvent prints with UV prints while improving quality and productivity, thus reducing cost per sqm, enabliing best ROI.

* Using NUR standard file/profile, on PVC, based on tests held at NUR during February and March

NUR will also be showcasing the NUR Tempo Q at Shanghai, a higher resolution version of NUR's popular flatbed UV-inkjet production printer. The NUR Tempo Q can print directly on both rigid and roll-fed substrates and is designed to produce very high image quality of up to true 1,270 dpi x 800 dpi for a broad range of wide-format printing applications, such as point-of-sale, indoor signage, specialty media applications and various types of large signs.
