RoyleBind enters photo book market with breakthrough technology

After more than four years of intensive research and development resulting in a portfolio of global patents, RoyleBind has created its Photo Book Solution, which can be printed on all sides post cover manufacture, resulting in streamlined manufacture.

Book text is simply added using the latest in PUR book binding technology. According to RoyleBind, the technology eliminates the need for end papers and casing in equipment to create a seamless hard cover photo book.

Cliff Royle, managing director of RoyleBind and inventor of the new technology says until now the $1bn photo book market was limited with only one choice of conventional case binding available.

He says, “RoyleBind looks set to make a significant impact to the Australian and global photo book market with this technology. Not only does it look better, it is able to be printed on the inside of the cover and is cheaper to manufacture than current photo book solutions.”

Also commenting, Richard Rudzki a shareholder at RoyleBind, and former managing director of The Bindery in Melbourne says, “Having spent a working life in many parts of the world in the manufacture of hard case books, this recent development in the RoyleBind stable of products is quite simply breathtaking.

“Superior quality and uncomplicated manufacture combine to deliver a finished result that dazzles, and with doubt will have a major impact in the photo book market.”
