RR Donnelley named final Ipex 2010 Champion in Print

The judges praised RR Donnelley, which was founded in 1864, for its “pioneering innovation and positive impact on the print industry”.

Thomas Quinlan, chief executive of RR Donnelley, said: “We are pleased and honoured that the innovative work our employees are doing on behalf of customers worldwide is being recognised by Ipex.

“New technologies, such as our ProteusJet digital print units, are helping to create fresh opportunities for customers to employ highly personalised print in their communications mix.”

The Ipex 2010 ‘Champions in Print’ awards were launched to honour individuals who have influenced and shaped the printing industry across the world.

Others to receive the award for next week’s event include ProPrint columnist Frank Romano and CTP pioneer Dan Gelbart.
