Sales double at Adelaide digital print shop

The print shop, which is part of a group of companies under 20-staff IT reseller PC Range, is seeing the busiest period in the its four-year history.

“I would say growth is close to 100% – a huge percentage over the past six months,” said Printomatic general manager Greg Birch.

He said the biggest growth had been in its wide-format division.

“We’re doing a huge number of flags for point-of-sale use. We’re also getting a lot of demand from retailers for signs on vinyl and corflute signage.”

He explained that the wide-format arm, powered by Mimaki kit, had been the longest-running side, but added that volumes were also ramping up on its Xerox 700, which was installed last year.

Birch said Printomatic was likely to invest in another digital production machine in the near future.
