Salmat launches new strategic operation in Manila

The new facility hosts Salmat’s contact centre services, computer programming support, digital and web content management, data entry and image processing, creative services, and other higher-value IT and outsourcing services for its Australia and New Zealand clients.

Grant Harrod, chief executive officer Salmat, says, “Our new Philippines operation will provide our clients with a secure, high technology offering, staffed by qualified, multilingual customer communication professionals. The new site adds significant capacity to our increasing global footprint.”

The Salmat operation at McKinley Hill, Manila currently employs 240 staff and has capacity for another 100.

Harod adds, “Salmat is committed to growing its operation in the Philippines. We have plenty of experience in this market and have proven our ability to deliver the best solutions to our customers. The Philippine’s  talent pool and their value for work have helped Salmat maintain the quality of our services from contact solutions to IT management, which is why we are increasing our capacity in the country.”

He concludes, “The new site will house the latest technology and equipment, which aids in creating high-performance work culture in the company.”
