Also on the Screen stand were a pair of entry level B2 and B1 platesetters, the PlateRite 4100 and 8100, which the company says produce plates of the same quality a the existing 4300 and 8600 models, but are not as fast, so come in at a lower price. They are aimed at smaller B2 and B1 printers. Screen also announced the launch of a new scanner, the Genascan, and A1 flatbed model, whichb the company claims has the highest resolution of any A1 scanner.
