Signwave on track for record breaking results

Sign printing franchise operation Signwave has increased sales by 10 per cent across its Australian centres so far this year, and wants independent sign shops to join the group which currently numbers 17 stores.

The 10 per cent growth follows a 3.6 per cent upswing in 2015 and 13.3 per cent in 2014, the year when an Aussie trio  Dean Rowland, Leo Baker and Linda Sultmann. took over the master franchise license from Fastsigns in the US. Baker's share has since been bought by Sultman and Rowland.

Sultman says, “For the past three years, we have focused on rolling out a comprehensive marketing program and providing hands-on sales and operations support and the results speak for themselves.

“We did our research and knew the signage industry has a great future and enough market demand for our centres to improve their sales and profit margins.

In its latest move Signwave now plans to expand its Australian presence by offering conversion and co-branding opportunities to the nation’s independent sign and print shop owners. “Now is a great time to consider joining the Signwave/Fastsigns brand,” says Sultmann.

“Diminishing demand in small format print and greater demand for more complex visual display solutions can stretch even the most experienced small business owner. Joining Signwave strengthens their capabilities with a big business style marketing programme, as well as dedicated support professionals and systems that foster growth.

“Being part of the Fastsigns network means there is a wealth of systems and industry knowledge available to Signwave franchisees that provide them with significant advantages over the competition.

Signwave is now offering its prospective franchisees the opportunity to meet with Catherine Monson, the international head of the Signwave/Fastsigns brand when she visits Australia in October.

At a limited seat roundtable in Sydney on Tuesday, 11 October, Catherine Monson will share insight into the company, what it takes to run a highly profitable Signwave centre and answer questions. Anyone interested in attending this event should contact Signwave

“Our franchise model has been successful around the world because it is beneficial to all parties involved. The Signwave/Fastsigns brand is in high demand worldwide due to the work being produced by our centres and the systems, training and support that guide them,” says Monson. “We continue to be impressed by the great results achieved by the Australian Signwave franchisees and look forward to establishing new relationships with enterprising, potential franchisees interested in continuing that tradition
