Snap inducts first gold partners

Franchise chain Snap is naming eleven suppliers as gold partners in the group’s first large-scale supplier partnership initiative, and in a sign of the times there is no offset press supplier among them. Australia Post, website developer Bloomtools, BJ Ball, Canon, trade printer CMYKhub, EFI, Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, Neopost GBC, Ricoh and OAMPS Insurance Brokers are all now approved suppliers for the franchising network.

Snap says the programme forms part of its ongoing Transformation Strategy, which aims for its stores to become all-in-one destinations for the print, design and online marketing needs of small businesses. Stephen Edwards, Snap’s CEO, says each gold partner has a successful long term working relationship with Snap. He says, “Our new Gold Partner initiative has been many months in the making. We do not select our Gold Partners lightly, but on the basis of their outstanding technology and product offerings, not to mention compatible values, and a scale that allows them to deal with the needs of our 158 franchises across the country. “We are committed to becoming the print, design, website, and essential marketing services provider of choice for small businesses across Australia, and this move is our latest step towards this.” Snap says it currently services more than 500,000 business and retail clients, with a turnover of over $120m per annum. The group has 179 owner-operated centres across Australia, as well as in China, New Zealand and Ireland.
