SOS buys pair of Geon Indigos

Michael Schulz, director, SOS Print and Media told Australian Printer, “We bought one for our Sydney office and one for sister company CPX in Brisbane.”

Schulz says, “The demand for digital colour is the reason we acquired the Indigos. They will allow us to offer even higher quality colour print and close the gap to offset.”

The Indigos will be used for the production of colour books and book covers. They join a wide array of digital print engines employed at SOS, including Kodak, Ricoh, Xeikon and Oce.

“The major benefit of the Indigo is the high productivity and quality. This will be the first Indigo in our Sydney facility and will widen our gamut of digital options. We already have two Indigos in Brisbane, a 3500 and 5000, and we have experienced the capabilities of these engines,” concludes Schulz.
