Spandex and HP to host open days

Spandex and HP are hosting a series of open days in March and April to showcase HP’s Latex and flatbed UV technologies and Spandex’s new range of rigid substrates. The substrates include Kapa, Gatorfoam and ForeX, from multinational 3A Composites.

Nathan Barclay, maketing manager with Spandex, says, “The open days are all about learning first and foremost but if a customer does place an HP printer order on the days, we will include over $1,000 in materials and accessories. Latex printers can be acquired for as little as $140 per week.” With events in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide (and more states to follow in later months), the companies say all sites will feature hands-on demonstrations of HP Latex printers and Ergosoft Rip workflow. Spandex’s Mt Kuring-gai headquarters will also have an HP FB500 flatbed UV press running, in addition to the Latex models. Locations and times:

  • Melbourne – Wednesday, March 5, at Spandex, 76 Technology Drive, Sunshine.
  • Sydney – Tuesday, March 11, at Spandex, 9 Hamley Road, Mt Kuring-gai
  • Adelaide – Wednesday, April 2, at Spandex, 2/5 Nucera Court, Greens Field
