Spectra Training offering print courses

Tim Robb, general manager for marketing and innovation, Spectra Training says, “So we are attracting people to our stand by running some games we use in our training. We hope to demonstrate to people what we can do in both prepress, print and print finishing. We do short courses as well as certificate courses in prepress, print and finishing.”

Robb says, “We offer nine different courses for the print industry as well as short courses. There has been interest shown and especially from people within the industry that want to update their skills and staff and people that would like to get some knowledge about how the print process works and print finishing techniques.”

The newest being the apprenticeship course the ICP30210 Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts (Pre-Press).

The new course contents offers a range of topics such as Graphic Design, Illustrations, Photography, Scanning, Retouching, Page Layout and Imposition, Proofing, Colour Management, Workflow Management, Plate Making and Digital Printing.
