The main attraction for Spicers will be the EFI family of digital UV printers, and there will also be finishing systems and consumables which will be on display at Stand H9, the Spicers Ideas Centre.

EFI printers on display will be a Rastek T1000 a UV flatbed printer which prints white at the same speed as CMYK. There will also be the Efi Rastek H652, a UV Hybrid that handles a wide range of flexible and rigid media while offering white ink print capability.

Spicers has formed a new partnership with Budde International which see Spicers distributing its products, Fotoba digital trimmers, the Rollsroller Flatbed Applicator and Wasatch computer software. Peter Maginn from Budde will assume the role of national product manager, Fotoba, Rollsroller and Wasatch within the Spicers business.

Rohan Dean, emerging business manager, Spicers Australia says, “Spicers are thrilled to be embarking on this partnership in a time where there is a dire need for quality finishing systems. We discovered that many wide format print businesses had super-fast presses, but slow or no-existent finishing systems to compliment them.”

The Fotoba XLD 170 automatic cutter is designed to work with both rolls and sheets. The Rollsroller Flatbed Applicator enables a single person to apply self-adhesive vinyl, applicator film and protective laminate in no time, it is ideal for customers who produce large signs.

Another new product that will be showcased is Vanity Board, a mirrored Perspex panel that Spiecers says is directly printable and easier to handle. The G-Graphic is a wide format print media that enables printers to produce graphic floors.
