Spicers unveils digital paper sampler

The sampler has support from leading brands such as Monza, Splendorgel, Pacesetter, Sirio and several others, and contains Spicers range of digital papers, including specialities, self-adhesives and synthetics, giving customers an idea of print quality before going to press. Spicers adds that HP Indigo and toner-based printers were utilised in the creation of the sampler.

Roger Rankine, national sales manager-digital media at Spicers, told Australian Printer, “The key feature of the sampler introduction is to show a range of digitally compatible and guaranteed stocks printed on different technologies. At the sample time, it highlights both technical and environmental specifications. It has been designed so that it can easily be updated as we introduce new products into the range in the future.”

Spicers says that it has designed the sampler to act as a functional sales tool adding the products are broken up into coated, uncoated, specialities, self-adhesive/synthetic for ease of finding the grade you require. The company adds that its sales and business development representatives look forward to continuing to assist customers to find the right solution for their digital requirements. Spicers will release further details in the future.

Rankine concludes, “You really have to see the sampler for yourself to appreciate the grades of paper that it contains. It makes you appreciate the wealth of possibilities now available with digital print. The sampler is just the beginning of an exciting new stage for Spicers, with more initiatives coming soon.”
