SPS Rehmus undergoes management buy-out

The business appointed temporary insolvency administrator Jens Hamdorf, of Treugarant AG, when it fell into the German form of administration in May.

Kirsten Brast, managing director of SPS TechnoScreen, said the transition would take place without interruption to the company’s existing customer base.

As part of the move, the manufacturer is to shut its Seevetal assembly site and transfer “up-to-date” facilities to central Europe.

According to the company, a “good number” of the manufacturer’s 50 staff have been brought over to the new business.
