At 230ppm, it’s unlikely to beat the Versamark on speed but the 8000 has an image quality of 1,200dpi and targets a range of markets including transactional, point of sale and direct mail. The press has a web width of 320-512mm and uses the X-800 front end software. Xeikon has calculated that the press is capable of producing a monthly volume of 8.5m A4 pages.
