Starleaton backs ProPrint Emerging 50

Australian-owned supplier of printing consumables and equipment, Starleaton, has added its support to the ProPrint Emerging 50 initiative which recognises the rising stars of Australia’s printing industry.

The Emerging 50 is designed to recognise members of the industry who have made a significant impact in their five years or less in the industry.

Emerging 50 recipients work in all areas of print including production, sales, graphic design, administration, finance, marketing, research and IT.

Industry superannuation fund, Media Super, is the foundation partner of the Emerging 50 and Starleaton now joins Cactus Imaging and Visual Connections as sponsors.

Starleaton CEO Ben Eaton said initiatives like the Emerging 50 will foster growth in the sector.

“Starleaton are thrilled to be able to support an initiative like the ProPrint Emerging 50. The printing industry offers so much in terms of career prospects and we feel initiatives like this will show future generations what is possible to achieve in the field,” Eaton told Sprinter.

“This is a great opportunity for us to acknowledge our Australian rising stars and support them from start to finish.

“We wish all the nominees all the best in their future careers and look forward to seeing how they progress in this great industry.”

ProPrint launched the Emerging 50 in 2019 as a running mate for the long-running Power 50, which recognises the industry’s leaders, advocates and innovators, and is now in its 10th year of operation and again gold sponsored by Konica Minolta with HP as silver sponsor and printIQ as bronze sponsor.
