Sydney Australian print capital for three days

Australia's event of the year for the printing and graphic
communications industry, PrintEx07, opens its doors in Sydney this
Thursday morning to what organisers hope will be record crowds.

Approximately
200 exhibitors will be anticipating the arrival and serious interest of
some 10,000 visitors over the three days of the show at Sydney
Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Market sentiment is positive and with Australia enjoying a
continuing buoyant economy on the back of its mineral booms in Western
Australia and Queensland, PrintEx07 is likely to be another success for
all stakeholders.

Visitors this time can expect to find some of
the major players on bigger stands whilst the shell scheme continues to
operate as it has in the past, to ensure a certain amount of 'equality'
among exhibitors.

One of the highlights of this year's PrintEx
will be the Industry Forums, chaired by media heavyweights Peter
FitzSimons and Jennie Brockie, on the Thursday and Friday respectively
at 11am-12.30pm.

FitzSimons' Forum will focus on business issues, while Brockie's will look at the impact of digital.

PrintEx07 is open each day at 10am; on Thursday it closes at 9pm, on Friday at 6pm, and on Saturday at 4pm.
