Sydney print finisher hits skids

Western Sydney firm PNPS Packaging & Print Finishing is up for sale after entering administration earlier this month.

Administrators at Dean-Willcocks Insolvency Solutions are selling the $1.5m turnover business owned by Peter Nemecek in Wetherill Park as a going concern.

Expressions of interest with a 10 per cent deposit were due on July 10 but the administrator has not returned calls about whether a buyer has been found or if the company will go into liquidation.

The company had been in business since 1987 from its 2000sqm plant and provided folding and inline tip-on gluing of cartons, wallets, multimedia packs, folders and files; carton window patching and window facing; and taping.

It also handled various special finishing services such as finishing and assembly of point of sale, promotional and special purpose items, kits, showcards, brochure stands, counter units, sample swatches, eyeletting, riveting, stapling, and application of disc dots, magnets, velcro, labels, stickers and struts.
