Sydney printers Rawson and Artvue merge

Lachlan Finch, director, Rawson Graphics tells Australian Printer, “I have known Shane Wildash from Artvue for a long time, we discussed business opportunities, and this was the right and most realistic decision. During these tough times, the decision to merge was the right one and I hope it will open new opportunities and markets for the business.”

The merger has led to immediate benefits, with the new company installing a new Komori UV five-colour press. Finch says, “We were thinking of installing a new machine for a long time and we have now invested in a new Komori UV five colour printer which will open new doors.”

The integration of the two companies should be completed by July, the deal will see the Brookvale based Artvue Printing’s operation co-locate with Rawson Graphics’ site in North Ryde.

The North Ryde company has ISO 12647-2 accreditation and is a Mellow Colour 100 club member, and is working towards the ISO 14001 internationally recognised standard, which the company expects to achieve by 2014.

Artvue was established 40 years ago and provide blue chip clients with print media. It delivers a wide range of promotional material including: Point of Sale, Corporate brochures, Direct Mail, Stationary, Flyers, Speciality Printing.
