Sydney trade printer in strife

Administrators have been appointed to Seven Hills trade printer Printprocol to determine if anything can be done for the company, which is currently facing financial trouble.

Australian Printer contacted Printprocol and spoke to an employee who told Australian Printer, “There will be a meeting tomorrow and another in two weeks to see if they want to keep the company going.”

Printprocol is owned by Sean Fagan who is also the director of Colour Perfect Printing in Parramatta.

Fagan says he placed the company under administration voluntarily due to bad debt from trade clients who failed to pay for jobs.

“People we have provided work to have been unable to pay because they themselves have gone into liquidation," he says.

“The voluntary administration process is halfway complete and there will not be any disruption and it will be business as usual. Hopefully we will be able to grow into the future without that debt looming over us.”

The company provides offset, digital and large format printing to businesses and trade.

Printprocol employs 12 people, Fagan advises all staff have been notified of the company’s position and there will be no disruption to their wage or super payments.

Appointed administrators Jason Tang and Ozem Kassem from Cor Cordis Chartered Accountants have been contacted for comment.

Founded in 1987, Printprocol is considered an industry veteran and in 2012 received a 25 Years Member award from the Printing Industries Association of Australia.
